Clay Play Your Way is the name I decided upon this time for my new beginning. The name was registered in 1996.
My previous name was East West Pottery and I had a location in an old run down strip mall. I managed to stay in that location for 5 ½ years until finances made me pack it up and move to storage.
Before that I was having fun working in a shed back of an old farm house. Raising children and making trades for massage and keeping company with my best friend and husband Howard Katz in loving memory.
My love of clay began in Flagstaff at N.A.U. I graduated in 1975. I had many interim jobs working in a variety of studios and potteries to learn the craft after graduation. This was the way I discovered the way my studio would function best for me. Many potters influenced me and for that I’m grateful.
